Solomon’s Seal is one of the key plants for any shady garden. These lovely plants give it an interesting touch with their long, arching stems and little bell-shaped white flowers that line the stems in spring. The flowers keep showing off by developing little black berries that are poisonous for us but beloved by birds. Solomon’s Seal clumps look lovely planted in the shade of a large tree, where there is a bit of dappled sun. They have a subtle, light fragrance. Solomon’s Seal loves rich moist soil with a lot of organic matter. The elegant flowers of Solomon’s Seal look wonderful in flower arrangements.
