DESCRIPTION
Showy and dramatic, the blooms of Iris 'Painted Woman' will make your border a show-stopper from late spring to early summer. Dark burgundy petals with prominent veining stand together with pearl-coloured, violet, dusky-rose, and yellow colours all on the same flower. They even smell wonderful. The vibrant colours are nicely contrasted by dark green grassy foliage. Plant them in partial shade to full sun and provide plenty of water. They happily grow along the ponds and do not mind their feet wet. Iris 'Painted Woman' is a hardy, tough, trouble-free iris that will reliably come back every spring.
